Can you share a noisy celebration with us?
For this upcoming Easter service, we would like to be able to share a bunch of different families sharing noisy rejoicing as we celebrate the resurrection. Here are a couple of ways you can participate.
1) You could video yourself and/or your family making noise in celebration. This could be anything; you could be banging on pots and pans while marching around the kitchen, using sticks on various hard surfaces to create a rhythm, playing a bunch of recorders and a vuvuzela, or doing whatever else you want to do to make noise and celebrate. These videos don’t have to be the greatest quality but should have about 10 to 15 usable seconds in them to be spliced in a larger time of celebration. This small clip could then be emailed to the church (woodynookcrc@gmail.com)
2) You could join in a time of virtual noise making on the Zoom app together with a few others. We have three different times scheduled so far. All you need to do is follow the links below at the time listed. If you don’t have the zoom app, it will direct you to download and install it. We will direct you in the creation of a time of noise, which we will record and hopefully put it in the service for Easter Sunday as well.
Here is the schedule:
– Monday April 6, 4pm https://zoom.us/j/174956804
– Monday April 6, 7pm https://zoom.us/j/518392617
Please be aware as you are making the videos that the final clip will be posted on our YouTube page, and will be public. No names will be attached to the videos however, and if you’d prefer a video without faces would work fine as well.
We really don’t know how well this will work, but we hope that you will try this experiment with us so that we can make our Easter service a bit more of a time of celebration together.
